The Vista Mirage Home Owners Association is looking to High River Town Council to help with a few issues they're having.

President Cliff Knight asked council to look into a few things like having crosswalks with lights installed on Riverside Drive to help seniors cross the road to their mail boxes.

"It is a seniors area where the duplexes are and the mailboxes are in the middle of the block and a lot of people aren't capable of walking all the way around to the two crosswalks," said Knight.

Along with the crosswalks they're asking for flashing lights to help the cross walks stand out.

They've also asked the Town install a permanent sign reminding people of how fast they're driving, reduce the speed limit and for help with snow removal costs.

Council told Knight they will consider the homeowners requests while doing budget deliberations.
