The town will be closing the 10th Avenue S.E. road between 1A street and 1 street S.E. on Wednesday September 5.

Construction crews will be in the area to work on the towns ongoing project to improve its underground utilities.

The road is scheduled to be closed for two to three weeks for the maintenance, as crews work to replace 90 metres of sanitary sewage pipe.

The crew will also be replacing a segment of new sidewalk on the south side of 10 Avenue S.E.

The town asks anyone parked in the area, to move their vehicle and belongings, and to be mindful of detours and vehicle speeds while construction crews work in the area.
