There's a celebration Thursday, July 27, at Rotary Park between Centre and First Streets West in High River.

Little Britches Parade Chair, Hank Leeferink says they have a special presentation for some prominent locals.

"We're going to re-dedicate Rocky Barstadt's statue, the beautiful buffalo statue will be re-dedicated. We'll also be unveiling the new clock tower which will be built and unveiled on December 1, after the Santa Claus Parade."

There's also a surprise presentation to former High River Fire Chief Oliver Perry.

And they'll be naming 17 honorary parade marshall's.

The celebration will include beef on a bun for a donation.

It all gets going at 5 o'clock.
