Just a few more sleeps until Santa makes his way down the streets of High River.

The annual Santa Claus parade is set for Friday December 4 and organizer Ted Dawson says there's no shortage of activities to take part in.

Local singer Sarah Curle will be leading a sing-a-long at the gates to George Lane Park at about 5:15 while at 6 officials will flip the switch on the lights in the park.

"Just all kinds of things to do that evening," Dawson says. "Of course there's the moonlight madness with all the local merchants and we have the Christmas Craft Fair in the Memorial Centre and High River United Church has their Gift of Hope Christmas Market and right after the parade the United Church Bell Choir is doing a recital in the sanctuary."

Dawson says if you follow the parade route you should be able to get your fill of hot dogs and hot chocolate.

The Parade itself starts at 6:30.
