The search for two missing 21-year olds in the B.C. Interior hasn't been "called off," but it has been "reduced."

The pair, who were last seen refueling in Cranbrook, Sydney Robillard, a former Okotoks resident and her boyfriend Alex Simons, have been missing since Thursday, It's suspected their small plane crashed while on a trip from Lethbridge to Kamloops, where the two lived.

70 Royal Canadian Air Force personnel and 137 volunteers have been searching ever since, but have had no luck, despite the plane being equipped with an electronic locating device.

The military says the search could resume if strong evidence surfaces indicating a likelihood of finding survivors.
