Two men and a woman were arrested last week by Okotoks RCMP.

Around 5 a.m. Friday, November 23, Okotoks RCMP and the General Investigation Section, Crime Reduction Unit, and Municipal Enforcement with help from the Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant at a home on Cimarron Meadows Crescent.

Firearms, weapons, drugs with a street value of $3,500 in total, 34.67 grams of cocaine, 4.22 grams of MDMA, 1.53 grams of heroin, $2,205 cash, and steroids in powder, liquid, and tablet form were seized from the search.

RCMP say they arrested three people at the scene.

Kavon Sharifi-Jamali, 25, of Okotoks has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking heroin, possession for the purpose of trafficking MDMA, careless use of a firearm (x6), unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon (x9), illegal possession or trafficking in government documents, and unlawful possession of body armour contrary to the Body Armour Control Act.

Simon Sharifi-Jamali, 32, of Okotoks has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking heroin, and possession for the purpose of trafficking MDMA.

Danielle Stankevich, 27, of Okotoks has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking heroin, and possession for the purpose of trafficking MDMA.

The trio were released from custody on recognizance after a judicial hearing.

They will appear in Okotoks Provincial Court on Friday, December 14.
