It's been an unlucky month for the Shoppers Drug Mart in High River, as another vehicle has crashed into it - this time, through the front entrance of the store.

Corporal Blair Schneider with the High River RCMP says, luckily the 83 year old driver of the vehicle and all other occupants in and around the building were uninjured.

"The collision is still under investigation at this time, but what we can confirm at this time, is that alcohol was not a factor."

Schneider says the extent of damage to the building is still unknown.

"The owner of the Shoppers Drug Mart is going to have to get some structural engineers to make that determination. We couldn't even begin to guess what the potential structural damage would be to the building."

The accident occurred at approximately 12:45 p.m. on November 30, the vehicle involved was a white Dodge Dakota truck.

The RCMP are continuing to investigate the cause of the accident.

Despite the damage to the building, the store remains open for business and is accesible through the regular exit doors at the front of the building.
