As you get ready to move the clock forward this weekend we asked several people if they love springing ahead - or loath it.

It was a toss up.

The people who don't mind it, don't have a strong opinion about it, but those that hate it, really hate it.

Lisa Siggelkow says she doesn't mind it, but her husband hates it.

"It is part of the rhythm of my year now and it doesn't bother me."

Shelley Lippert loves the longer daylight hours in the evening.

"I can stay outside and play in my yard longer."

Lisa Szabon-Smith says the spring forward is brutal to adjust to.

"As a mom with a little kid it is super hard. I like my sleep and that is just not helping."

Thom Theroux thinks we should do away with the old-fashioned tradition.

"There is a lot of stress related to that time of year. It's not good for the body to have big changes. Maybe it worked better in the past, you can understand why they would have done it, but now it is just a confusing thing."

Lee-Anne Meerakami likes to spring ahead and is looking forward to the longer daylight hours so she can shoot lots of pictures.

Kathryn Robson says it costs us money, so we should get rid of the practice.

"We are in a province that right now is claiming to be one of the most energy efficient in Canada, yet daylight saving is causing us to spend more money on energy."
