The Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex in High River re-opens for the first time since March on Monday, September 21.

The Town's Recreation, Administration and Programming Supervisor, Tracy Morgan, says it's going to be a much different experience for users heading there now.

"It will be way different and, you know, again I just cannot stress this enough we just need people to be patient.  If something's not working, come talk to us, let us know and we'll see what we can do to adjust and move on. You know a lot of these AHS recommendations we're trying to put in place might not work for everyone."

Morgan, says staffing is part of the reason they just can't throw the doors open to everything at once.

She says most of their staff will be back though.

"We have a lot of dedicated staff and we're so excited most of them are coming back. Of course a couple of them have gone off to school and that sort of stuff. We wish them well and we do have a couple of job postings up right now. But for the most part all of our staff will be coming back."

The building will open in stages starting with the big ice surface Monday and then the small ice and the pool opening Monday, October 5 and Monday, October 19 respectively.

There's still no world on when the field house will open.
