The High River Chamber of Commerce had its AGM on Thursday, March 29th,

Steven Muth is back as the President.

He says this is the one meeting they have to have every year.

"I gave a brief update as to some of the plans the Chamber has for 2018," said Muth "Just reiterate we are redoing our strategic plan here this spring to renew our focus and then in the fall be able to roll out some plans for later half of 2018 and 2019."

At the last meeting in advance of the AGM they voted Muth to stay as the President, Monty Stafford stayed as the Vice-President and Jennifer Avery is the Treasurer.

"So I appreciate their confidence. It is a pretty big vote and it's not something I take lightly."

The Chamber has three new board members Laurie Allan of Century 21, Becky Webster of Inspired Events and Thomas Theroux of the CIBC.

The chamber also approved the financial statements and the minutes from their last AGM.
