Highwood MLA Wayne Anderson had an upbeat message he delivered at the Okotoks Chamber Luncheon on February 15, 2017

He says we will get through this recession.

"Stick and stay and make it pay, " he said. "We are in a good position now we are going to slowly turn the corner here in Alberta."

"All the folks in Highwood are sticking together and we will get through this."

Anderson added the leadership from the Mayors and the MD of Foothills is also helping.

"We are going to keep helping people move forward with more programs, information or any assistance we can give to get through this recession."

Organizations like the Chamber are also important for recovery.
 
"They are a direct line right to the business they are the artery."

He also thinks a change of government in 2019 will help and it will be a conservative government again.'

"We will bring back the Alberta Advantage, I'm defiantly going to be part of that."
