Livingstone-Macleod MLA Pat Stier is back in Edmonton as the fall sitting of the Alberta Legislature is in session.

Stier, who will call it a day when the next election is called, says he still has some issues he'd like to iron out before he leaves politics.

"Municipal funding and emergency management. The old topic I've been fighting on for five and a half years, EMS and rural ambulance issues. Rural crime and we have an awful lot of people interested in what's going out out in the east Country in terms of off highway vehicle access and random camping access."

Stier says he's carrying on as normal, and will continue to do so until the election is called.
