Last year's New Years baby, Saeed Aboughoche, is hanging onto the title for a little while longer as no babies have been born at the High River Hospital since 2018 rolled around.

Alberta Health Services says there hasn't been a birth at the High River Hospital since the calendar turned over to 2018.
However, AHS says they'll let us know when the first baby of 2018 arrives here in the Foothills.
