A collaboration between Okotoks RCMP and the Calgary Police Service has resulted in the recovery of approximately one million dollars in stolen property.

January 10, the RCMP general investigative section, crime reduction unit, and CPS' centralized break and enter unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the Northwest Calgary neighbourhood of Huntington.

The search warrant was executed in connection with a break and enter in Spruce Meadows over the holidays, police seized a number of the items taken from a residence on Tournament Lane between December 23 and 29, 2017.

A 54-year-old man was arrested at the scene without incident. He remains in Okotoks RCMP custody pending charges, and a bail hearing for the following Criminal Code offences:

- Two counts of possession stolen property over $5000
- Three counts of unauthorized used of credit card. 

Two women ages 31 and 32 were also arrested at the scene without incident. Both were released on Promises to Appear, charges for possession of stolen property are pending against both the women.

The investigation is ongoing, Okotoks RCMP wish to thank the public for their assistance.
