The Town of Nanton is giving residents a chance to put in their two cents at the Town's annual General Public Meeting Sunday, January 31.

Mayor Rick Everett says part of the day will be taken up with a presentation that he thinks residents will very interested in.

"We have something special coming this year. We have our engineering company coming down and giving a presentation on our new waste water treatment plant. So, people will get an idea of what that looks like with a conceptual drawing of the finalized building etc."

He says he's also hoping to have a representative from the Nanton RCMP Detachment at the meeting to give a report on the Mounties activities and to answer any questions or concerns.

Everett says they do their best to have all the information at hand for the meeting.

"What we do is we present the information and then we open the floor to questions and you know what, if we don't have the answers readily there, we'll make sure that somebody gets back to whoever provided the question and provide them with an answer as soon as possible."

The meeting goes Sunday starting at 2 P.M. at the Nanton Community Centre.
