Three people, including two school kids were sent to hospital after their school bus crashed Monday, January 28, South of High River.

Around 3:15 p.m. the bus rolled over on 690th Avenue at 136th Street, just East of Highway Two, near Cayley.

All three injured people were taken by ground ambulance to hospital in High River, with one girl being airlifted by STARS Air Ambulance to Calgary with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

A man was taken to Foothills Hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries by ground ambulance, while the third person, a young boy, was treated at the High River hospital with varying, non-life threatening injuries.

The other six kids on the bus, were taken home by RCMP to their parents.

Crash investigators were on scene late into the night, but have not released the cause of the roll over.
