It's the first weekend of November which means it's time to change the clocks.

Daylight saving time comes to an end at 2 a.m. Sunday, November 5, when clocks will roll back an hour to 1 a.m.

This means there will be more light in the mornings and it will get darker earlier in the evening.

The time change also serves as a reminder for residents to check the batteries on their smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.
