The televevison show Tin Star is back in High River filming new scenes for their upcoming season.

On Friday, March 2 a stunt rehearsal will be taking place at 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of 9 Avenue S.W. and 7 Street S.W.

The rehearsal will take two to three hours and is required in order to review safety protocols and set a safe perimeter for a scene that will involve two vehicles colliding.

Filming of the scene and vehicle stunt will commence on Monday, March 5 at 7 a.m.

In order to accommodate crew vehicles and ensure continuity the following parking restrictions will be observed:

Friday, March 2 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.:

No Parking on 9 Avenue S.W. from 6 Street S.W. to 8 Street S.W.

No Parking on 7 Street S.W. from Macleod Trail S.W. to 10 Street S.W.

 
Monday, March 5 from 7:00 a.m. to 8 p.m.:

No Parking on 9 Avenue S.W. from 6 Street S.W. to 8 Street S.W.

No Parking on 7 Street S.W. from Macleod Trail S.W. to 10 Street S.W.

The intersection of 9 Avenue S.W. and 7 Street S.W. will also need to be closed during the rehearsal and filming. Detour signage will be in place to re-direct traffic.

There will be additional filming taking place inside the Charles Clark Medical Centre located at 303 9 Avenue S.W. from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Crews will require the use of three parking spaces and may need to re-direct clients to the east entrance.
