The annual "Trail's End Gathering" is back in High River for another year of cowboy poetry and old time western music.

Organizer Robbie Robertson, says if you're interested in the western lifestyle and culture, then this is the event for you.

"It's entertaining. It's to do with the western lifestyle. Some are kind of funny, some are kind of serious. And of course the music is 'Western' as opposed to 'Country'"

All the events are at the Full Gospel Church at 1802 9 Ave S.E.

Performances run Friday from Noon to 10 P.M. Friday.

Saturday 11 A.M. to 10 P.M.

Daytime shows are free, while the feature evening shows are $15.00 each night, or you can pick up a weekend pass for $25.00.

Saturday night there's a special supper of Cowboy Stew, Biscuits and Pie for just $20.00.

Tickets for the dinner are available at the Museum of the Highwood.

Tickets for evening performances are available at the door.

The weekend wraps up Sunday morning with Cowboy Church, and if the weather allows an afternoon Open Mic Session at George Lane Park.
