Another detour to watch out for Tuesday, July 24, in High River.

The Town will be removing a couple of large trees on Macleod trail between 5th and 6th Streets S.W.

That means Macleod Trail will be closed at 6th Street from around 8 in the morning until Noon.

A detour will be in place while the work is done.

The Town says the trees need to come down as years of being battered and bruised have left them too damaged to leave as they are and they need to come down because they're a hazard to the public.

However, replacement trees have already been put in place.
