The Town of Turner Valley wants to hear from residents when it comes to marijuana sales and consumption.

They've put up a survey on their website, looking for everyone's two cents.

Councillor Barry Crane says he's not hearing much about the issue on the streets of Turner Valley.

"You know, it's odd, but there hasn't been a lot of street talk about it. A lot of people will stop me and say "Hey, you're a Councillor..." And they'll have some opinion about something. But not about weed."

He says so far, no one has come forward looking to set up shop.

"No, not even a hint. That actually is the spot I think we really have to be diligent about. When it comes to what is it going to look like in our storefront? What is it going to look like to our kids when they want to go to the pool or they want to go for a breakfast, and there's the weed store."

Crane says the survey is a handful of multiple choice questions, and takes just a few minutes to complete.
