Issues, not personality will be the focus for the United Conservative Party in this Spring's legislative session.

House Leader Jason Nixon says they need to go into the Legislature and fight for their constituents.

"The fundamental purpose of that building (Legislature) over there is for us to have a disagreement in a democratic way. With that said Jason (UCP Leader Jason Kenney) believes, and all of our caucus believes that a better way for us to do that for our constituents is to make it less personal. We're going to try to rise above that. There'll be days where we fail at that goal. But in general, that will be our main goal as we go back into session."

Nixon says they've been frustrated by the government when they don't get answers to their questions.
