High River RCMP have a little more to go on in their investigation into a break in at a rural residence last week.

Thursday, November 1, Mounties were called to a rural property at 338th Avenue, near 160th Street East.

The home owner, who'd been asleep, awoke to the sounds of a man and two women breaking into his house.

He tried to chase them off, but one of the suspects sprayed him with a can of bear spray.

The victim has since worked with the police to come up with composite sketch of the male suspect.

He's described as caucasian, about 5'9", with an average build and between 50 and 55 years old.

The two women involved are described as caucasian, both 5'6", 20-to-25 years old, with thin builds, with one having shoulder length dyed hair.

The victim says he saw the suspect in the area a couple of weeks before the robbery, and believes he was likely scoping out the area.
