It's Tourism Week in Alberta and the Town of High River is taking part.

Olivia Cotton Cornwall, the Visitor Information Services Coordinator with the High River Visitors Centre says they have a few events coming up.

"Guy Weadick Days and the rodeo are coming up. So, that's always very exciting. So, people are already starting to buy tickets and starting to plan for that. And then we have the Rocky Mountain Philharmonic Orchestra coming to town this weekend, and then also in the area the Diamond Valley Parade and Discovery Days is going Saturday."

Cotton Cornwall says by far the biggest draw to High River for tourists around the world are the film sets, particularly Heartland and Maggie's Diner on Third Avenue downtown.
