Anyone who hasn't taken the time to stroll or drive through George Lane Park and enjoy the Christmas lights - time is running out.

Organizer Ted Dawson says the display is coming down on Saturday, January 20th and they could use a bit of help.

Members of the Rotary and Lions Club are meeting at 9:30 a.m. to get going on the work.

"If other folks wanted to volunteer and come and give us a hand that would be great," said Dawson. "There is a lot with taking the displays down and then hopefully the cords and stuff are not frozen to the ground. So the more the merrier."

The displays, lights and cords are all stored in one of the washrooms in the park.

"There are quite a few things to take down so if we can spread it out with more people, it just makes it easier for everyone."
