The number of people who voted Monday, October 16, in High River dropped a bit from the 2013 Municipal Election.

The Town says 3,396 people voted in this year's election.

That includes special ballots, incapacitated electors and mobile voting stations.

The Town doesn't have a list of eligible voters, but comparing it to the Stats Can census numbers of those in the age groups that can vote, it works out to about 30 per cent.

About 3,974 people voted in 2013, or about 39 per cent of eligible voters.
