Another successful "Vul-Con" is in the books as the annual convention has wrapped for the year.

One of the hallmark's of this years event was the number of visitors from far flung places, like New York, California, Oregon, and the tale of Kelly Davis who drove 19 hours from his home of Apple Valley, near St. Paul, Minnesota.

"I had been looking at it for years and debating on when I was going to go. I kept putting it off, and I finally had to just kick myself and go. Get your tickets, put your stuff in the car and go."

Minnesota's Kelly Davis says "Vul-Con" was totally worth the 19 hour drive.

He says "Vul-Con" was all he had hoped it would be.

"It exceeded my expectations. I just love it. Talking with the people is great. And then the stars that are here, I mean they're very approachable, very friendly and easy to talk to. Everybody, the whole overall experience just makes it great!"

Davis says he's been a "Star Trek" fan since the beginning and plans to be back again next year.

The stars of "Vul-Con," Ira Steven Beher, Robert O'Reilly, Hana Hatae, Cirroc Lofton and Mark Okrand pose with volunteers during Sunday's final day of the event in Vulcan.
