The High River Library is excited to launch a series of nine workshops called "What's Getting In Your Way." The first session begins on March 21, and Program Coordinator Joyce Brown says it will help you understand your personality by colour.

"The first one is Understanding You, and you can sign up for one or you can sign up for all nine. The first one she tries to help you identify what you are. Like I'm an orange, which means sort of a random abstract and never having all my papers with me. Other people are really personality pleasers and others are studious."

Brown says there will be many topics discussed.

"She moves on and helps you learn how to handle stress and discover your problem solving styles and building confidence, doing assertive training, resolving conflict, and then there's the seven steps to success."

She says the workshops have a variety of applications.

"It's also great for families, because sometimes your kids they have totally different learning styles than you do and how you can work with them better. If you are working, how to handle co-workers that handle things differently from you. So, it's quite fun to have your colour."

The workshops will run Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and will be lead by Sandra Oleksiw.
