The Wind Walk development is walking across the road.

Foothills MD Reeve Larry Spilak says the company behind the development has made ana announcement.

Spilak says he's heard the company has publicly announced that they are going to become part of Okotoks.

Wind Walk is just across Highway 7, south of the Walmart.

Mike Holmes wanted to build a community that would feature environmental designs with building practices that would make it one of the better developments in Canada.

The town of Okotoks has fought against the development in the past, claiming there wasn't enough water on site.
