Two Calgary women have been charged after allegedly assaulting another woman while trying to steal her car at the Okotoks Home Depot.

Around 4:30 Saturday afternoon, Okotoks RCMP say one of the women tried to steal the victims car while the other assaulted her.

The accused were located a short time later and found to be in possession of stolen property.

The victim was not injured as a result of the incident.

Pamela Joy Scout has been charged with Attempted Robbery, Obstruction of a Peace Officer, Possession of Stolen Property and Mischief under $5000.

She will appear in Okotoks Provincial Court April 22.

Lisa Panther-Bone was also charged with Obstruction of a Peace Officer and Possession of Stolen Property, her first court appearance is set for May 5 in Okotoks.
