The duo of Ponoka's Levi Simpson and Arrowwood's Jeremy Buhler continue to light it up in team roping at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.

The pair split top spot Monday, December 5, moving them into second spot in the average after five nights at the NFR.

Buhler gives a lot of credit for the pairs success to his partner Simpson.

"Levi's done such an awesome job, you know what I mean? He's turned me steers for money every single night. He's unreal! I'm just glad to be on his team and I'm glad to catch one for him tonight."

Airdrie's Jake Vold won the night for the second staight night in bareback riding, and sits fourth in the average.

Nanton's Clay Elliot tied for third in saddle bronc.

He's sixth in the world, while Big Valley's Zeke Thurston was ninth Monday night, but is sixth in the average.
