A short closure of the Centre Street Bridge will greet motorists and pedestrians on Sunday, May 5.

The Town of High River will close the bridge from 6 to 8 p.m. for their annual flood gate testing.

Protective Services will be on hand to assist with any questions residents may have.  Residents are welcome to come and take photos but are just asked to remain out of the worker's way.

Barricades will be in place at the intersection of Centre Street and Macleod Trail, right across from Sobeys.

Centre Street at High Country Drive will also have barricades in place.

The sidewalk will also be closed to pedestrians.

5th Street NE to 498 Avenue E is your best alternate route.
