The Berry Bounce at Kayben Farms

It was a fantastic day at Kayben Farms on Saturday for the final day of the Pumpkin & Scarecrow Festival presented by Kayben Farms and Olde Towne Okotoks in partnership with Travel Alberta!
The weather was perfect as people enjoyed the activities at Kayben Farms!  The Berry Bounce, the slide and the wagon train were packed with squealing, delighted children enjoying the amazing fall weather!

Pumpkin Carving & Painting in the Greenhouse!

It was the perfect day for our finale to the Dixie Mash contest as well!  Our 3 finalists showed up ready for anything!  We took advantage of some of the fantastic activities at Kayben to decide our winner!  Dalton, Amanda and Heather each took a lap of the pedal-kart track to determine the order in which we would release them into another great area of the farm, the corn maze!

Amanda on the Pedal Kart Track

The fastest time around the track went to Dalton so he was into the maze first with Amanda following 5 seconds later and Heather 5 seconds after that.  Our winner would be the first person able to find Sean Emmett in the maze and they would be taking home the pair of tickets to see the Dixie Chicks on Halloween!  We attached balloons to each of our finalists so we could see where they were in the maze!

Elaine & June from our Sales Team with the finalists, Heather, Dalton & Amanda at the Corn Maze!

It wan't long before a squeal of delight was heard and Sean had released his balloon to let us know we had a winner!  And it was our third entrant into the maze, Heather!

Heather and her Tickets!

Congratulations Heather on being the winner of the Dixie Mash contest and the tickets to the show!  Thanks to Dalton and Amanda for being such good sports and to Kayben Farms for letting us run our finale there!

See You Next Year!
