What an exciting game for the Oilers last night as they take a 3-2 win against the Calgary Canucks in the Shoot Out.

The 1st period was a little bit shakey as the Oilers came up slow and let the Canucks get the best of them putting 2 on the board.

Oilers Goalie Riley Morris says he knew he was a little off but it was his team mates that encouraged him to pick it up in the 2nd and 3rd.

"I felt like I really struggled in the 1st and I know that the boys were really playing to me so those last two and a half periods I reall just had to dial it in for them."

The Oilers laced up their skates in the 2nd period Tanner Laderoute putting a goal on the bored and getting the momentum rolling, then in the 3rd period an incredible shot from Ayden Roche-Setoguchi tied it up and forced the Canucks into OT.

Morris says he was just coming off the ice when he saw Setoguchi make the goal.

"I mean I had just got to the bench and I looked over the crowd and he was just letting go of the puck, he's got a good shot and it's good to see someone like that get the recognition."

The fans were on the edge of their seats after that, with a fast paced and incredible come back from Oilers getting them to the win.

Morris saved 42 shots, and says it was one of the most fun game.

"It was from the start one of the faster games we played all year, and it was so much fun throughout the entire game."

The Oilers play again today as they head out to Grand Prairie to take on the Storm at 2 P.M.
