We got to kick off our Easter weekend celebrations with the EP release party for Drew Gregory!

Drew Gregory and his band at Century Casino.

The new EP is called 'I Was There' and you can download and purchase as of now.  Thursday night was a celebration of his new music and his love for fans and Alberta.  The turnout was awesome and he sounded fabulous.

Drew Gregory performing with co-horts Domino dressed up just like him as a tribute.

The opening act of the night was also an Alberta band - Domino...who you can see in the photo above are big fans of Drew's. (lol) It was a great night!  You will be able to catch the entire EP on Made in Alberta April 2-3, 2016.

The weekend also saw the celebration for another local artist...Maddison Krebs from Okotoks!

Maddison Krebs performing at the Ironwood Stage.

Her EP is called 'Bulls-Eye' also available for downloads or purchases now.  This amazing 19-year-old wowed the crowd with her great sound and stage presence.  We've all been watching her and cheering her on since she was 14.  It was a real treat to be there and introduce to the crowd.  You've heard her music this past weekend on Made in Alberta.

We got another treat during the show.  Maddison wrote a song with fellow Okotoks artist Tanya Ryan and invited her up on stage to sing it with her.  What an incredible song! Click here to see a video performance after they wrote it on facebook.

It was an awesome ALBERTA music weekend!

Hear more on Made in Alberta on Saturday mornings at 9am and Sundays at 3pm every weekend with Jody Seeley.
