It was a bit of a mixed bag of results on Friday, July 12th for the Albertans competing at the Calgary Stampede.

Only three of the Albertans competing on Friday were able to make it into the top spots of the day.

In Saddle Bronc, Ben Anderson from Rocky Mountain House earned a score of 87, which was enough for him to tie for first place for the day with Kade Bruno from Idaho.

Both Anderson and Bruno earned $6,250 on the day.

Brothers Logan and Dawson Hay from Wildwood also competed in Saddle Bronc, where they finished 4th and 9th, respectively. 

Even after coming in fourth on Friday, Logan Hay is still standing strong at first place in the Pool C standings, having earned $10,250.00 so far in the aggregate.

Ben Anderson is sitting at 4th overall in the Pool C standings, while Dawson Hay is in 5th.

The two Albertan Steer Wrestlers had different results on Friday.

Ty Miller from Wainwright came in 2nd place with a score of 4.0, while Harley Cole came in ninth with a score of 5.7, earning them $5,500.00 and $0, respectively.

Ty Miller sits 4th overall in Pool C for Steer Wrestling, while Harley Cole is sitting in 6th.

Pool C in the Bareback division saw only two Albertans compete.

Kody Lamb of Sherwood Park and Jake Stemo of Calgary were both able to win money on Friday.

Lamb scored got a score of 86, and was able to secure the 3rd spot, while Stemo got a score of 83.5 and came in 6th.

In the overall Pool C standings, Lamb is sitting in 6th and Stemo is 9th.

There were no Albertans, or Canadians, competing in Bull Riding, Tie-Down Roping and Ladies Barrel Racing in Pool C.
