To start my day off I went to the 2nd Annual Foothills Country Hospice Pancake Breakfast at the Sobeys' parking lot in Okotoks. People were there getting lined to up to eat their free breakfast of pancakes, sausage, and beans right when it started at 8:00am and it didnt take long at all until it was really busy!

They had some great live bands play like the Ed Sands band and the Truyt Sisters and Friends, the Top Secret Blue Grass Bands, and a group of amazing young fiddlers. There was face painting for the kids and also draws and contests going on. Last year the event raised near 4 000 dollars, I really hope they were able to top that amount this year!

After the breakfast I drove back to High River for the Bike Rodeo at the Fire Station. Lots of parents and their kids came out to learn about biking and proper bike safety while having some fun and the weather for it today couldn't have been any better! The kids were treated to lots of goodies like Hershey's chocolate samples, tattoos, freezies, and more!
