High River RCMP are looking for unbuckled seatbelts.
Sargeant Larry Marzinzik says the detachment will set up cheskstops throughout the Foothills all month. He says the ten percent of Albertans who fail to wear a seat belt need a reminder. He estimates one third of deaths in automobile accidents could be prevented if everyone wore a seatbelt.
