A busy couple of days coming up at Highwood High this weekend as the Mustangs are hosting the Varsity Boys 3A Zone Volleyball Tournament.

Mustangs Athletic Director Curt Colfer says it's tough to predict how the home town team will do because of the variety of different teams coming to the event.

"When we get to our zone tournament we're basically split between our Foothills League and the Rockyview League, so you never really know because you never get to see those teams all the time."

The tournament starts at 12:30 Friday with the Mustangs hosting the Holy Trinity Academy Knights.

The tournament also includes the Strathmore Spartans, along with teams from Cochrane, Canmore, rooks, Springbank and Airdrie.

It'll run until around 8 P.M. Friday, before starting up again Saturday morning at 9 and should finish with the finals around 8 o'clock Saturday night.
