At around 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday Dec. 20, Chestermere RCMP were dispatched to a robbery at a local pharmacy on Merganser Drive. 

It is believed that the vehicle used in the robbery was the same vehicle used in an Airdrie pharmacy robbery, which occurred just prior to this one at 1:40 p.m. The licence plate obtained in the Airdrie robbery was Alberta licence plate CFM 3654. 

Suspects are described as:

  • One male was slender and approximately 6’4. 
  • The second male was approximately 5’9 and was wearing pink gloves. 
  • Both males had a dark complexion

It was initially reported that the suspect vehicle has a broken driver's side taillight and there is damage to the bumper. The bumper which is damaged is the front bumper.
