The Okotoks Dawgs have now earned a victory in all three nights against the Giants in Fort McMurray and took tonight's game 9-1.

Garrett Maloney would start on the mound for the Dawgs and was given the credit for the win. Maloney played five full innings, posting four strikeouts and only allowing a single hit.

Okotoks and Fort McMurray would go the first three innings scoreless. At the top of the fourth, the Dawgs would open the scoring with two runs.

Nash Crowell stepped up to bat with Tucker Zdunich and Connor Crowson already on base. He would then hit a single to centre field giving Crowson enough time to score the first run.

Shortly after with bases loaded Jarrett Burney would get an RBI with a fielder's choice and get Zdunich in for the 2-0 lead.
