The Okotoks Dawgs took advantage of some errors and shaky pitching to earn their fifth straight win, 7-3 over the Edmonton Prospects Monday, June 3, in Edmonton.

The Dawgs took a 1-0 lead in the first inning, led 4-0 after two and 7-0 in the fifth, before the Prospects got on the board.

The win moves the Dawgs a game and a half up on the second place Prospects in the WCBL's West Division.

The Dawgs make their way home Tuesday, June 4, for a date against the 1-and-5 Brooks Bombers.

They get going at 7:05 at Seaman Stadium.
