Yet another Farmers Market success here in High River!

Even these birds were enjoying some of the fresh produce, especially the yellow watermelon available at the market.

Jake Bews from the local libary was feeling bitter-sweet as this was his last market since the summer reading program was quickly coming to an end.

There was a few games at the booth that many kids enjoyed playing.

Cole was very happy that there was ring toss and got 4/5 on his first try!!

Heather Bourgeois from Okotoks was excited to share her booth with the High River Market for the first time this summer!

She was selling books for babies to young adults in hopes of increasing literacy in younger familes while encouraging reading in younger kids!

Kim Wingenbach with KJS All Season Apparel was glad to be out selling her various clothing pieces from all over the world again this market!

Kim has been coming to the market for the past four years and loves talking and selling to the public.

At every market there has got to be popcorn!

Thanks to Eric Lowe and his Stampede Kettle Corn Truck the High River Market has the best kettle corn and ice cold water every Thurday afternoon!

There was a booth all the way from Austraila thanks to Kelsey Gardener and her handmade goodies "K Sea Creations".

She was impressed with the turnout and loved talking to the people at the market and sharing her unique story.

Near the end of the street there was a hot air balloon basket sitting on the street with Jamie Kinghorn inside! After talking to Jamie I learned that he was promoting the upcoming International Balloon Festival. There are already 20 different pilots signed up from all over the country and everyone is very excited about the event coming up in September from the 26-30th! Make sure you put it into your calendars as this is a local event you cannot miss!

Remeber the last High River Farmers Market is Thursday, August the 30th!!

Hope you have a great day,
