The Alberta Junior Hockey League will continue to do their part to curb violence and bullying in hockey again this year.

The league voted to continue the pilot project started back in the 2010-2011 season.

The project is a combined effort of the four western Junior "A" Hockey Leagues as well as the Canadian Junior Hockey League.

Oilers coach James Poole is behind the plan.

Poole likes the plan, at least in spirit, but says he hopes there isn't a move afoot to completely remove fighting from the league.

Poole says the league is doing the right thing in going after staged or instigated fights.
