The High River Flyers head to Claresholm Saturday, January 26, to tackle the Lomond Lakers.

The Lakers have had the Flyers number this season, beating them in back to back games early in the season.

Something Flyers Coach Colten Hayes says will be in the back of his teams mind.

"I think all the guys are aware of that. Of their team beating us once in regulation and once in the shoot-out, so you know, you can't really lay down and think it's going to be an easy game against them. You've just got to come out prepared and ready against them."

Hayes says the Lakers are a big, physical bunch.

He says they and the Flyers are kind of in the same boat this season, they've had a lot of close games, but the bounces just haven't gone their way.

Game time is 8 o'clock at the Claresholm Arena.

However, Friday, January 25, the Lakers were in Okotoks where they fell 5-2 to the Bisons.

The Bisons make their way to Coaldale Saturday to face the Copperheads in the "Snake Pit"

The Bisons have been playing "catch up" with the Copperheads as they're just three points back of the Heritage League South Division Leaders.
