The top 10 nominees for the 2021 Hobey Baker Memorial Award have been announced, and among them is former Okotoks Oiler Dylan Holloway.

Nominees are submitted by the athletic departments of their respective Division 1 men's hockey schools.

The 19-year-old forward with the University of Wisconsin currently has 11 goals and 23 assists for a total of 34 points in 22 games.

In his time with the Okotoks Oilers, he recorded 51 goals and 64 assists for a total of 115 points over 83 games.

Among his accolades are AJHL Player of the Year for 2018-2019, and a silver medal at the 2021 World Juniors.

In October of 2020, he was drafted 14 overall in the NHL entry draft by the Edmonton Oilers.

The second round of public voting for the award runs until April 1st.
