This morning I was at the Fury in the Foothills Street Hockey Tournament put on by the Strive Youth Society in the Boston Pizza parking lot in High River. This was the tournement's third year and their mission is to help get kids involved in physical activity, teach them sportmanship skills, and to have a fun time and I all of this shown today! The kids and their families all had a great time and some of the teams even had matching t-shirts. Hotdogs and hamburgers were served and they also had a bouncy castle set up for the kids. Later on I was at the Guy Weadick Days Rodeo. Unfortunately the chuck wagon races today were cancelled due to poor ground conditions from the rain but they will happen tomorrow night at 7:00pm and the tickets from today's rodeo will be honored for that. Despite that the chucks were cancelled today the turn out for the rodeo was crazy, the grand stand was packed and the bleachers were full as well. The arena was pretty mucky so it was funny to watch the bull riders get thrown and land in the mud.

My best friend Kaitlan Schlosser who is the rodeo queen of Stavely was at the rodeo today as part of her duties so it was nice to see her there. I even got a personalized autographed picture from her hehe! Overall this weekend was very busy but it was still fun!
