The Meal in the Field contest continues as we had a chance to sit down to a spectacular meal Wednesday with David Payce, his family and neighbors.

They have a farm out by Brandt and harvest is definitely underway as they have most of the haying done and are now just getting going on the canola.  Payce and his family have farmed the area for a long time and are used to the ups and downs of the seasons and all the rain we had this spring.  The upcoming sunshine with highs in the 20's will sure serve them and all of our farmers and ranchers well.

Thanks to John and Lee-Anne Coleman from Jolee Electronics for sponsoring the day and they had the chance to take a break from their busy schedule and enjoy the meal from Melissa at Rocky Mountain BBQ Catering as well.
