The 19th annual High River Half is ready to go this Saturday at George Lane Park in High River.

There are a few changes to be aware of says FAIM Fundraising and Communications specialist Jessica Koch.

"We were virtual last year so we're really excited to be in person this weekend."

And they won't be hosting the half marathon this year but Koch says they're ready for everything else.

"We've got the 10K and the 5K and then we are going to hold the kids fun run.  Of course, we're going to have all the appropriate safety protocols in place.

We'll have masks and hand sanitizing stations, a spread out start, and all of that but we're really excited to see people in person."

It's one of Foothills Advocacy in Motion's biggest fundraiser of the year.

The event was virtual last year and still managed to raise almost $19,000.00

FAIM supports adults with developmental disabilities in High River, Okotoks and Strathmore.
