High River property owners should be receiving their 2024 property assessments this week.

They were sent out on February 29. 

You can find yours in your mailbox or email inbox, along with the yearly Assessment Newsletter for 2024.

That's where residents will find Information about their assessment. 

The deadline to submit appeals Tuesday, May 7, at 4:00 PM.

Property owners are encouraged to contact the assessment department with any questions or comments regarding their assessment during the 60-day Customer Review Period, which runs from March 8, 2024 - May 7, 2024. 

The Town is offering extended hours to call and dedicated times to meet with residents who wish to discuss their assessments. 

The annual Assessment Newsletter includes:

  • -Instructions for submitting an appeal.
  • -A list of important dates for 2024.
  • -Use the 2024 Assessment Checklist to prepare for your conversation with our assessors.

2024 Important Dates:

  • February 29, 2024: Assessment notices mailed.
  • March 8 through May 8, 2024: 60-day customer review period.
  • Wednesday, April 10, 2024: Open House by Telephone Only | 4:30 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Saturday, April 13, 2024: Open House by Telephone Only | 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Wednesday, April 17, 2024: Open House by Telephone Only | 4:30 PM - 8:00 PM
  • May 7, 2024, at 4 PM: Assessment Final Complaint Deadline
